都靈篇 (Torino/Turin) (二) -- 參觀 Piazza CLN, Piazza San Carlo, Palazzo Madama, Duomo di Torino, Porta Palatina

對上一次來訪都靈已經是5年前的事了, 雖然部分景點已經參觀過, 但重遊舊地仍然有新鮮感, 可能因為相隔數年, 印象有些淡黃了...

好, 和大家齊來認識或再認識Torino!!!

Piazza CLN - 從都靈的火車站 Porta Nuova, 步行入都靈市市中心途中, 首先會到達 Piazza CLN, 這個細小的廣場上, 左右兩邊各放有一座大型雕像和噴水泉, 各代表都靈市著名的河流:

左邊代表的是 River Po.




而右邊代表的則是 Dora Raparia River.

Piazza San Carlo -- Torino 其中一個最美麗的廣場, 建於1637-1660年。 圍著廣場的都是極華麗典雅的建築物, 建築物地下的柱廊更令逛街變成賞心樂事。

這天剛巧有人在廣場上吹氣泡, 為寧靜的廣場增添一點動感!

Via Roma -- 在 Piazza San Carlo (廣場) 通往Piazza Castello (廣場) 的路上, 是這條長而寬闊的Via Roma (羅馬路)。馬路兩旁全是柱廊建築, 每一部份都有不同設計的柱廊, 盡顯心思與高尚品味。而柱廊的設計亦令步行和購物方便, 下雨和下雪天也無需擔心。

Piazza Castello -- 走到 Via Roma 的盡頭, 立時就可看見都靈市另一重要地標 Piazza Castello。匯集了Torino市內其中最頂尖和重要的建築物, 包括Palazzo Reale (皇家王宮), Palazzo Madama宮殿, 而這裡也有很多咖啡店, Torino Tourist Information Centre 在這裡也有個諮詢中心, 職員很友善也能操流利英語。





Palazzo Reale (皇家王宮) -- 從1646年至1865年, 這座是曾經統治都靈的House of Savoy 這顯赫王朝的王宮。都靈是Savoy王朝12-19世紀其間的首都。這王宮裡展現這王朝的各項珍貴收藏和華麗裝飾的房間。

Palazzo Madama -- 這座建成於13世紀的宮殿, 是後來因為17世紀的Savoy王朝君主 Vittorio Amedeo I 的夫人Madama Reale Maria Cristina 入住了而被命名為 Palazzo Madama。

Duomo di Torino and campanile 都靈大教堂 & 鐘樓 -- 正式名稱是 "Duomo di San Giovanni Battista, 這個地方我首次來Torino時已經參觀過, 最主要是想拜見傳說是包裹主耶穌去世時的裹屍布。(在本人的 "穿梭都靈2007"遊記裡有作多一點介紹的)。要來這裡很方便, 它就在Piazza Castello向西北面行大約10分鐘。先在Piazza Castello 找到 Via Giuseppe Garibaldi 這條行人專用路 (全條大路兩旁都是商店林立, 是都靈市最繁盛的購物街), 向前行一個街口, 見到 Via XX Settembre (九月二十日街), 轉右然後向前直行, 不久就會到 達 Piazza San Giovanni 廣場和大教堂的了。

Porta Palatina -- 離Duomo di Torino不遠處, 就是Porta Palatina 的所在地。這個紅磚建造的城門, 是公元前一世紀建成的, 是世上其中保存得最完整的羅馬城門。附近還有一個羅馬劇場的遺址。

Piazza San Carlo & Via Roma 的晚上 -- 很美!!  不要錯過, 在晚上記緊要走來拍幾張都靈市中心的夜景照。晚上的都靈, 寧靜安詳, 夜燈襯托着華麗的建築, 浪漫醉人極了!!

回到意大利- - 都靈篇 (Torino/Turin) (一)

消失了一段日子, 又再重回Yahoo blog懷抱 !!

消失的日子中, 其中一件重要事情, 就是去了意大利一趟!!

籌備了一段時間, 今次旅程只造訪意大利西北部, 其中重點包括去朝聖 ----- 是朝我愛隊 "祖雲達斯" 的聖!!!

旅程的 第一站 --- 都靈 (Torino), 位處西北部Piemonte區的工業重鎮, 是意甲足球隊祖雲達斯 (Juventus) 和意大利名車 "快意" (Fiat) 的家鄉。

香港沒有直航往都靈, 我們因此選擇乘機經由 德國的法蘭克福 (Frankfurt), 轉機直達都靈。




今趙並非首次到都靈, 所以對這個城市算頗熟悉。不同於其他意大利大型旅遊城市, 都靈的機場規模較細小, 沒有像羅馬、米蘭的寬闊和熱鬧。

在Arrival Hall 的一間店舖購買往市中心的機場巴士票 (單程 6.5 euros/人), 車程大約30-45分鐘, 途中會停 Stazione Porta Susa火車站, 最後一站則是Stazione Porta Nuova火車站附近 (總站)。

這天, Stazione Porta Susa有市集, 但因我們在車上, 所以沒機會去逛。

穿梭意大利之旅2013 - 待續!

意大利 Amalfi Coast 四圍行 (4) - 絕美 Positano

繼續意大利 Amalfi Coast 之旅 (實在太耐沒有update喇)!!!

先坐巴士: Sorrento --> Amalfi (小鎮) , 參觀過後,

坐船: Amalfi --> Positano (小鎮), 參觀過後, 最後,坐巴士: Positano --> 返回 Sorrento

上回講到, 我去到Amalfi (city) 快快玩左兩個鐘左右, 但由於時間關係, 要趕住坐船由Amalfi再搭船去另一小鎮, 就係Positano, 繼續今日個 one-day trip。



之前聽一些意大利朋友談起 Positano時, 往往都會聽到大家如何讚呢個小鎮有幾靚幾吸引, 但講真, 我去到時, 頗失望呢!! Positano非常之細不特止, 而且根本沒有甚麼事情可以做!!! 除非你stay在呢個鎮, 咁都可以走去沙灘游下水、堆下沙吖! 但一日遊, 邊會帶咁多野在身呢!

呢個town, 從海上 (船上)看過去, 個 view的而且確係好靚, 不過落船後就冇野好做!! Shopping來來去去都係賣紀念品、時裝之類, 我個人對此興趣不太大。唔需要一個鐘就可以行完整個鎮喇!!

個沙灘都幾大!!

沙灘旁有幾間餐廳, 不過意大利消費都幾驚人, 加上呢度係出名旅遊小鎮, 食物價格肯定昂貴啦, 所以我冇想過在呢度食任何野, 哈哈!!

由於沒有甚麼東西可以做, 就不如慢慢行, 順便搵番D路, 準備搭番巴士返回 Sorrento, 結束一日嘅 Amalfi Coast 小鎮之旅。嘩, 原來回 Sorrento 嘅巴士站係在半山之上!!!!! 由碼頭行番上半山, 絕對唔講得少! 行到氣喘!! 我想我足足行左半個鐘 (慢行、停低影下相、又在一間店買左個檸檬沙冰飲以解熱!!)

趕頭趕命, 咁就完成一日嘅 Amalfi Coast之旅!! 平心而論, 一日去2個鎮真係勁趕, 但由於時間有限, 都冇辦法。本來仲有一、兩個小鎮都想去, 但實情絕對冇可能, 除非自己揸車, 時間就會控制得更好。但據悉旺季時嘅 Amalfi Coast沿路極多車, 常塞車又好難搵位泊車, 所以搭巴士或者坐船穿梭呢D小鎮遊玩會化算得多。

Shanghai Acrobatics Show

One of the things that I have planned to do while traveling in Shanghai was to go to an acrobatics show. Before embarking on the trip, I read from Lonely Planet Shanghai tour book that there are two different places where one can go to a Chinese acrobatics show. Based on the recommendations from Lonely Planet, the one held at Shanghai Centre Theatre (in the Jia'n Dictrict) seemed a good choice.  One day after visiting the Jia'n Temple in the same District, we walked to the Shanghai Centre Theatre to buy tickets for the show.

Admission fee wasn't very cheap - it's RMB280 each person. But the seats were extremely good  - we were sitting on the second row right in the middle of the auditorium!  There were only slight worries.... just in case an acrobat failed to do some parts and fell right onto us?

Too many worries, LOL, because the acrobats gave such a wonderful performance. And the most important thing was - none of them did fall onto us! LOL

The show started at 7:30pm and ended at 9pm. Personally, I think the show was simply amazing! Incredibly worth the money and an evening watching such a great arcobatics show!

Shanghai trip 2011 - to be continued!  

Hello Shanghai!

Just came back from a trip in Shanghai, China 。
This is my first time to Shanghai and it really has impressed me a lot.  In the past, when people talked about Shanghai, my impression was: many Shanghaiese people liked to compete with us (in Hong Kong); they thought that they were developing fast, and could very soon replace Hong Kong.  Probably because of these negative feelings, I were not very eager to travel to Shanghai.

Well, but the fact is, I should not be so subjective , because this trip to Shanghai has totally changed my feeling for Shanghai!  Shanghai is really a beautiful and diversified big city. It has long history, traditional structures (like the ones in Yuyuan Garden, or otherwise called the Old Town), modern Pudong financial district (one of China's economic powerhouse), advanced infrastructure (the well-built subway system and high-speed/bullet trains); and the easily accessible, charming and tranquil canal towns near to Shanghai.  All these have made my trip to Shanghai such a rewarding travel experience!
